Java SE 6 is out!!
A guy named Dan from out west just informed me that Java SE 6 has shipped!
Java Platform, Standard Edition 6 Release:
I am really interested in the standardized scripting API in JDK 1.6, so this is pretty neat.
I cannot use this version under Mac OS X until Apple ports it. I probably will not get that until OS X 10.5 comes out next year.
However, I can most likely run it under Linux on my Mac, using Parallels. So I am cool with that, for the time being.
